Who we are

We are the students of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Philological faculty and the Institute of Asian and African Studies (a faculty of MSU). The languages are both our primary and secondary subjects. We also study literature, economics, history, culture of the country we are specialized in, but language comes the first. Each student can speak one or two foreign languages. The Philological faculty deals with Western languages, students usually take one primary Western language and from one to three more languages as secondary subjects. As for the students of the Institute of Asian and African studies, though they are specialized in the Oriental languages, they also have good command of at least one Western language as it's their compulsory subject. The full list of the languages that are taught in Moscow State University is rather long, that's why let us enumerate some of them:

The Philological faculty:
  • English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and others
The Institute of Asian and African Studies:
  • Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Pushtoo, Dari, Afrikaans, Swahili and many many others (total 40 languages)...
